After a few weeks of use, the bioplast post had gotten so torn up from rubbing against my teeth that it was too painful to wear. Complete piece of junk. I'm very annoyed. Never use bioplast for labrets unless they're low enough not to come in contact with your teeth.ORIGINAL REVIEW
This monroe is pretty. From the photo one might worry that the quoted 2mm gem size is actually larger, but it isn't. It's quite small and delicate-looking, which is exactly what I wanted. The bioplast post seems much, much gentler on the teeth than the stainless steel posts that I've used in the past. Metal posts can damage tooth enamel and even change the shape of your teeth if you tend to fidget by chewing on the post, which I occasionally do.
My only complaint: the moonstone in the product picture is whiter, more glimmery and faceted than the gem I received. The actual thing is more clear and glassy. It's still rounded -- it doesn't look like your standard crappy gem -- but it's not what I had expected. Had I realized it would look so much like a glass gem, I might have gone with the labradorite instead.
