(More customer reviews)I'm finding it doubtful that these plugs are actually made of silicone since silicone is hypoallergenic and after wearing them for a few days I have unbelievably infected ear lobes. In fact, unlike other earlobe infections I have experienced in the past, this one goes above and beyond and has managed to spread to the skin surrounding my ears in a way such that I now have an inflamed, red horseshoe-shaped "pattern" on either side of my head. No one needs this - if you ears are at all sensitive, do yourself a service and avoid.
