(More customer reviews)After looking on the body jewelry sites I normally use, I decided to buy these from Toltec Trading Company via Amazon. When I looked, other sites barely had any choices for sizes and color and sometimes only had one of each available -- most places were completely out of stock. There were stainless steel ones available but, why pay $30 a pair when I'm only using them once and only to go up one size?
The product description doesn't say, but i think they start out at about 12 or 14g. You would probably need to be at a 12 already to get them to stay in. Also they only come with the big O rings pictured, so if you're starting out that small you'll need smaller ones for the back.
I also like that these are mostly clear, as it weirds people out enough when they do notice them, they notice them less when they aren't neon yellow. That was my main reason for getting them.
Overall these are a good, affordable, pair of tapers in a non-offensive color. And, to save you the time of looking, they are comparably priced to those on body jewelry sites and would probably only be a better deal there if you had a free shipping code or something like that.
